SO YOU WANT TO BE AN INFLUENCER

Let me start with, it's not easy. It can be frustrating and it takes a lot of time and effort. Now that we have the groundwork laid down, ask yourself "why?" Why would you like to become an influencer? Do you want free stuff? Would you like an outlet to express your creativity? Do you have something to say that others should hear? Your why will help decide your short term goals. You are in influencer which means you are a leader. You have to know where you are going for others to follow you.
When you know why you want to do this, ask yourself why should people follow you? What will they have to gain? Social media is no longer just beautiful pictures. Followers what to be educated, informed, inspired, and entertained. What will you do for your followers?
That brings me to tip number 2, consistency! If you've every seen 'tips on becoming and influencer' on TikTok or Instagram, they recommend certain posting schedules:
TikTok:
2-3 - daily
Instagram:
in feed post - 3-4 weekly
story - 8-10 daily
IGTV - 1-2
Reels - daily
If you are a one person show, this schedule on two platforms can become overwhelming. Not to mention if you are also writing on your blog and creating youtube videos. I recommend a posting schedule that it manageable for you to stay consistent. People don't want to follow someone who is here one day and gone the next. Everyone like predictability (even the algorithms). Find a posting time that aligns with your analytics and sustainability and stick to it.
So far on the journey to becoming an influencer we've discussed:
